Shadow Cliff Neighborhood

Welcome to the Shadow Cliff neighborhood in Pleasanton.  It is located adjacent to Shadow Cliff Regional Park and is close to swimming, fishing, boating and hiking areas.  Located on the southeast side of Pleasanton, you will find the historic Main St. and downtown area a short ride away.  

The neighborhood is comprised of over 200 homes and two large grass areas with mature landscaping surrounding them.  Ridgewood originally began building homes in 1987 in this area, but when they went out of business, Kaufman and Broad completed the neighborhood.   Shadow Cliff (California Glen) features homes with exceptional design and comfortable open floor plans.  California Glen offered four floor plans ranging from approximately 1139 square feet to 1651 square feet.  The smallest of the four is a single story model.  The California Glen homes are three bedrooms and either two or two and a half bathrooms (depending on if it is single or two story).  The lots range from 3000 square feet to approximately 6000 square feet, with some exceptions. 

Over the past 15 years, many of these homes have been upgraded and remodeled, but the list below will highlight the standard features that these homes were constructed with.

Shadow Cliff is one of the most affordable neighborhoods in Pleasanton.  Current prices (2nd quarter 2006) range from approximately $600,000 to $800,000.  There is a homeowners association which currently charges under $100 per quarter and includes maintenance of the two large grass areas. 

Overall, you will find that Shadow Cliff offers affordable housing, a well-maintained neighborhood, solid built homes, and homeowners that display pride of ownership with their houses.
